Awhile ago (as of 3/25/24) I discovered a mod called Figura.

Figura is a Minecraft mod which enables the user to build highly detailed avatars with Lua based scripting and BlockBench. While Figura has its limitations, the amount of things you can do with the Lua scripting is crazy. Me and my friends have joked about getting DOOM running in Figura scripts.

Monitor in Figura Form

Not very interesting I know, but here is Monitor. There are a lot of fine details. Like the tail wagging or the eyes blinking and the nose sniffing. The eyes follow the gaze of the head.

Rocket Boots Replace Elytra

One thing I really do not like about Vanilla Minecraft is how big the Elytra is and how much it does not compliment your Minecraft Skin. I decided to have a more sleek and integrated replacement for the Elytra. The Rocket Boots fit in nicely with my server as we are a very Create Mod centric server. Leggings and boots are also replaced by the Rocket Boots, if I wear armor, the armor will be represented on the boots. There is also a smoke trail behind me when I fly and fireworks are replaced with an activator button.

Conditional Clothing

Inspired by Fabric Seasons, I made it so my clothing automatically changes with the temperature and other conditions. I did not like how my character would just wear a tank top and shorts when it snowed, so I programmed my avatar to have situational clothing. It is fun to see my clothing slowly switch between different outfits. So far, I also have a mining outfit for when I go on those occasional mining expeditions. I've also programmed in the functionalities for rainwear, swimwear, and scuba gear. I want to add special outfits for the End and the Nether. I want to have an Adventure Time Flame Shield for the Nether.

Mining Outfit

Being the only non-temperature based outfit I have made so far, I put a lot of work into it. Much like the Elytra, the mining outfit changes the appearance of armor. Leggings become kneepads and chestplates become plated gloves. The mining helmet also turns on and kind of works. Because my server uses LambDynamicLights, I piggy-backed off of that to make the helmet actually produce light. When I hold a torch, the torch is hidden and the headlight turns on instead. I am unsure if I like the "light" effect. I wanted to go with something much softer looking but Minecraft does not support it. There is no render type which supports alpha maps and emissiveness at the same time.

Custom Animations

By no means am I good animator, but I had a lot of fun adding character to my... character. Monitor is meant to be a little sporadic when it comes to her body language. Dog person do dog things.

I also have a lot of other little animations like biting, barking when typing messages, shaking water off, eating like a wild animal, looking hurt when hurt, drooling when hungry and sneezing when sneaking.

Ideas for Future Additions

The issue with this type of thing is that I never NOT have ideas. I just go until my hyperfixation moves onto the next thing.

Go look at bob's minecraft shrine

That is all I am putting on this page for now. Maybe I will update it as more things come to mind.
